Wether you are a beginning runner (or walker/runner, or jogger) or a seasoned strider the importance of cross training and strength training cant be ignored. Strength training can help make your runs easier, faster, safer.  If you are looking for a week by week running plan or a strength training regimine to supplement your current cardio contact me about setting up your sessions.

Equestrians

 

Doesn't the horse do all the work? Ha! If only! Its a question we've all been asked.  Riding (and barn chores) requires endurance, muscular strength, flexibility and balance.  While you'll improve each of these things through riding, you'll find much better results when you cross train in addition to your riding and barn work. I offer small group training as well as one on one training sessions to teach you all you need to know about improving your fitness in a sport specific way to target the muscles and requirements that riding and competing demands.  I am also availabe for seminars for 4-h and Pony Club Organizations as well as show teams and barns. 

Team Sports

 

As a four sport collegiate athlete I know what it takes to reach upper levels in athletics.  I also know it takes more than talent to stay there. My goal for training you is to complement your team practices with research based exercises and workouts to maintain top condition and form while minimizing injury. 

 

So often we arent taught the fundamentals of building a solid foundation of endurance, strength, and even basics such as proper running and jumping technique. Let's work together to develop a plan geared towards your athletic success.

Many of my clients are women and men who are intersested in starting a routine so that they can lead healthier, happier lives.  Whether its 5lbs, 50, or even 100lbs, that youd like to lose, I can help you.  I have been there.  I lost about 40lbs myself in 6 months a few years ago.
